IRTEC approved courses

AK Training is accredited with the status of Approved Assessment Centre by the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and the following courses are currently available from AK Training under the IRTEC Technician licensing scheme:

Electrical Systems and Diagnosis

(IRTEC Advanced Technician level)

CAN Bus and Integrated Systems

(IRTEC Master Technician level)

Intellitec Programmable Multiplex Control - PMC

(IRTEC Master Technician level)

The courses are aimed at technicians working in the transport and heavy sector of the motor industry including emergency services and in particular Fire and Rescue services.

Those who successfully complete a course will receive a certificate of professional competence from the Institute of Road Transport Engineers. For those working towards obtaining their IRTEC license, courses count as supplementary modules at the respective level of the IRTEC Technician Licensing scheme.
